As the only institution in Poland, we organise regular auctions of old and contemporary sculpture. Pieces by some of the greatest Polish sculptors, such as Alina Szapocznikow or Igor Mitoraj, are particularly valued. At the April auction in 2016, DESA Unicum noted a record sale in this category – the sculpture “Bird” by Alina Szapocznikow was sold for 1,960,000 zlotys. Nonetheless, anonymous wooden figurines from the School of Zakopane or sacred sculptures are also very popular.

We try to provide a varied offer by including small scale and open air sculptures, reliefs, installations and tapestry. We represent some of the greatest Polish sculptors as well as concentrate on art déco sculptures or art made in the wood industry school in Zakopane, where most three dimensional and decorative work originated and developed.
