The idea behind creating the Young Art Auction was, and continues to be, direct support and promotion of artists debuting in the art market. DESA Unicum, as one of the first Polish auction houses, organized such auctions, creating a space for individuals at the beginning of their creative and market journey. Thanks to participation in auctions, their works reach a broad group of collectors and art enthusiasts. Young Art is currently the most dynamically developing segment of the art market. Auctions are regularly organized twice a month. All selected works can be bid on starting from 1000 PLN (approx. 231 EUR), initially through pre-bidding in the mobile application, and then during the traditional live auction.

With each auction season, we observe an increase in the prices of young artists. The current average selling price is already 2,500 PLN (approx. 580 EUR). These auctions are also notable for impressive records set during the auctions: in 2023 - 66,000 PLN (approx. 14,800 EUR) for "The Beach Is Right Here" by Dariusz Grabuś; in 2022 - 66,000 PLN (approx. 15,200 EUR) for "Happiness" by Bożena Sieczyńska; in 2021 - 54,000 PLN (approx. 12,500 EUR) for "House Near Ocean" by Dariusz Grabuś; in 2020 - 33,000 PLN (approx. 7,600 EUR) for "Time Might Stop the Lost Fate" by Anna Zalewska; in 2019 - 35,000 PLN (approx. 8,000 EUR) for "Parisian Twins" by Bartłomiej Koter; in 2018 - 35,000 PLN (approx. 8,000 EUR) for "Puppet Master" by Lech Bator.
