Józef Pankiewicz’s "Rest under the Pine Trees", dating from around 1911, is being offered at auction for the first time, alongside Józef Mehoffer’s "Manor House in Summer", depicting the artist’s beloved home in Jankówka.
The selection also includes Józef Brandt’s first oil painting, "Lisowczycy", from 1861, as well as Alfred Wierusz-Kowalski’s classic and bravura "Wolf Attack". The offering is further enriched by works by some of the most distinguished Polish artists associated with Paris, including Mela Muter, Olga Boznańska, Moïse Kisling, and Tadeusz Makowski.
