The exhibition “Tracing the Self. Warsaw – Vienna – London” is a comprehensive presentation of the work of one of the most distinguished figures in Polish contemporary art – Ewa Kuryluk. It traces the evolution of her visual language, from early drawings, prints, and collages from the 1960s, through photorealistic paintings and self-portraits from the 1970s, to previously unseen works from her London period.

Kuryluk’s art has always drawn from autobiographical themes, forming an intimate yet deliberately constructed painterly self-record. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore the origins and development of this unique visual idiom.

Now based in Paris, the artist will be present at the exhibition opening, adding a special dimension to this event – a celebration of a pioneering and consistently evolving artistic voice.
