HOW MUCH IS JEWELRY WORTH?

Various, unique objects from all over the world appear at auctions at DESA Unicum. Most often they come from collectors, people who bring beautiful items from their travels, as well as from heirs who often only with us discover how valuable the inherited jewelry is.

How much is jewelry worth?

There is no definite answer to this question. The value of jewelry is ambiguous.
Estimating the price is usually influenced by the ore and stones the item is made of. This is the case with estimating the price of popular products most often available in the so-called "chain stores", where you will not find hand-made jewelry, but mass-produced cast products.

It is completely different with hand-made, single handcrafted jewelry when the artist - goldsmith pays great attention to refining the details - starting from the selection of stones, through the design, to the final polishing of the finished product. Therefore, sometimes items with densely and artfully embedded tiny diamonds, creating a beautiful design, will be valued more than inferior quality products with slightly larger diamonds.

You pay more for beauty, quality, and uniqueness...

At this point, it is impossible not to mention the old nineteenth/twentieth-century jewelry. These valuables, included in our auction offer, deserve special attention. They are made with precision and are characterized by a well-thought-out construction, as well as stunning design. Given that over the years there will be less and less of such jewelry (it will probably be irreversibly destroyed or irretrievably lost), the value of these items continues to rise.

Each subsequent auction at Desa Unicum proves an increased interest in investing in high-class jewelry. It results from various reasons, for instance, a spectacular increase in the price of gold on the Polish market, inflation, political and economic factors that directly affect us, and also - most importantly - a significant increase in the price of diamonds and precious stones in December.

The growing interest in investing in jewelry continues and it can be expected that it will not decrease, on the contrary, this kind of investment will be increasingly appreciated.
