Art déco - nowoczesna elegancja

Dwudziestolecie międzywojenne to czas rozwoju stylu zwanego art deco, który objął architekturę, malarstwo i sztuki dekoracyjne. W latach 20. królowały motywy roślinno-zwierzęce, które niecałą dekadę później zostały zastąpione geometrycznymi kształtami. Wzory te zdobiły liczne przedmioty, począwszy od tkanin, po biżuterię i wyroby z ceramiki.
