The idea of creating the Young Art Auction was and still is direct support and promotion of artists debuting on the art market. DESA Unicum was one of the first Polish auction houses to organize such auctions, helping young artists to establish contacts with collectors and art lovers. Currently, such projects have secured a strong position in the auction calendar, and selected works, available from 1000 zlotys, are a great opportunity for those who want to start investing in art.

At one of the auctions, 23.6 thousand zlotys was paid for the work of the beginner artist Wojciech Brewka. This was forty-seven times the asking price and, at the same time, a record for the work of a young artist.

Young Art is, after contemporary art, the second most dynamically developing segment of the market. Only a few years ago nobody was willing to pay so much for the works of beginner artists. However, there is every indication that the value of such works will continue to grow.
